WELCOME TO SCHOOL OF NATURAL AND APPLIED SCIENCES, KAMPALA INTERNATIONAL UNIVERSITY, UGANDA.
Introduction
The School of Natural and Applied Sciences (SONAS) was curved out of School of Engineering & Applied Sciences (SEAS) in 2018 by the authority of Senate of Kampala International University for the operationalization of SONAS as an independent school given its uniqueness and the need for the natural growth and development of its structures, programmes, student enrollment and staff after SEAS was moved to Kampala International University, western campus.
Today SONAS has two departments, Department of Biological & Environmental Sciences and Department of Physical Sciences where it boosts of a big number of International and National students, highly dedicated and qualified staff both academic and Administrative within her diverse learning, academic and research environment.
The school offers a range of courses from Diplomas, Bachelors, Masters and PhDs in different disciplines of Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Industrial Chemistry, Environment and Wildlife Management and Conservation.
